When I saw this locket it, it was love at first sight. I have wanted to use an old locket for quite some time now. My first goal was to remove all of the old engraving marks off of the front to have a empty brass front. I played with many ideas of what I would use for the inside and how to make it appealing. My solution was to create a picture format for a polaroid using a sheet of metal from a scrap bin. I wanted the necklace to show elegance. I achieved this through chain mail links from wire that I had used from a previous project.
